INSTRUCTIONS: Leave notes to other voters in voting booths.

Having prepared a paper crane with a message on the inside, I continued the message across its wings, celebrating the American republic with the words "deriving their just power from the consent of the governed" as a reminder to whoever came after me of the nature of the civic service we were doing by voting.

My crane voted for Obama. But then he stuck around for whoever came next, whether that recipient was to be a Republican, Democrat, or (like myself) an unaffiliated voter.
