INSTRUCTIONS: Leave clues.

So I left clues.

I went and buried something for my friend (it was Yellowbear, who I've never met, but that is what is required of the task, but anyway), and I didn't just tell him where it was, I left clues to tell him where it was (check out how he followed the clues he found). So I had to jump over a fence and tape a clue onto his front door.

To protect his secret identity, I took no picture of his actual place. But here is me with the first clue.

This is what that first clue said:

It led Yellowbear up to the top of Grandview Park. And the view from Grandview Park is, actually quite grand.

And this is the stairway under which the next clue was taped.

And this is the next clue.

It led Yellowbear down to that Washington Mutual right down there at the bottom of the hill. I hid the next clue in a deposit envelope at the ATM.

I didn't take a photograph of the ATM, because I wanted to get in and out of there quickly, and I didn't stop to take pictures.

But it was in there, and the note within was this.

Which sent Yellowbear to this bus stop.

Which led him to a park (where he got a little bit lost, but called the ACME detective agency, and luckily they were able to help him find the correct park. And out in center field of that park was this grate where the next clue was.

Which led him to this mailbox outside of a Chinese video store.

The next clue was behind this fire alarm near Golden Gate Park.

Which led him to this tree stump.

On that tree stump was another clue.

The first clue is in here. I taped it to the front of Yellowbear's door.

The weather's great! Why not go for a walk?

The first clue. And challenge.

Yellowbear, you are being called out, if not out of SFØ retirement, at least out of the house. Before you lies a trail of clues. At the end of which lies a gift made just for you. First you'll need to go to the top of Grandview Park and find your first clue under the top stair landing of the wood stairway. Good luck.

Go to the Washington Mutual on 19th and Noriega and check the last envelope on the right at the outside ATM. Look, you can see it from here!

The next clue was in a deposit envelope. It read: On 23rd and Moraga there is a bus stop. There is a letter waiting for you behind the digital message board.

There is a park with a misleading name, because it's there even when the sun isn't setting. There is a baseball field in this park, in the deepest part of center field there is a metal grate in the grass. Next to that grate is a capped pipe. Behind this pipe is the clue you seek.

And apparently there are many Sunset parks in San Francisco. Oops. But this is the right one, which Yellowbear was able to locate with the help of a helpful gumshoe.

There is a mailbox with a great view of Sutro who sits outside of a Chinese video store on the corner of Judah and 31st Ave. Underneath that Mailbox lies another clue.

The fire alarm

The clue under the mailbox led Yellowbear to this fire alarm. The one clue I forgot to photograph, and it's the one I put a funny little joke on. Oh well. Maybe Yellowbear will post a picture of that missing clue.

Go to the site where DoorHenge once stood mighty. There you will find two trees grown from one and between them a small stump. A friend awaits you on that stump. Follow where he leads you.
