INSTRUCTIONS: Take pictures that rhyme.

I thought about doing this in an easily understandable way, and I suppose I have done that. But my first thought was to take a picture of a box and then some rocks. That would be more abstract and satisfying, but this I found more aesthetically pleasing to me. The actual pictures rhyme. It's not as easy to follow. Much like my graphic sonnet wasn't very easily comprehended, this may not be either. Because most will say that the objects are the same, or the words don't rhyme or whatever. But I chose to interpret this task not to take pictures of things that rhyme, but to take pictures that rhyme (not that I have anything against the great completions that utilized word rhymes). And a rhyme is a repetition of identical or similar sounds, but since pictures aren't sounds, the definition had to bend to accommodate. And I bent it in the direction that the new definition reads a rhyme is a repetition of identical or similar images. And rather than take identical shots (too easy) I found similar shots, either in form or framing or aesthetics. Basically these are composition rhymes. Doktor Harmon did a similar completion as did JJason to some extent. So, I was not treading new ground by any means, so to add to the difficulty level (for myself as a challenge) I decided to come back around to start over at the beginning from the end to make a perpetual image loop. So each of these sixty images rhyme with each other in consecutive order and also loop around to continuously rhyme forever.

Wait for this to load. It's kinda worth it.
Then when you're done watching it, go and look at the pictures below. They look better all blowed up and big. But this really shows off how much they rhyme.

Beautiful, especially in the way you managed to incorporate the rawness of urban imagery, nature, people young, old, pant-less and it seems both LA and SF.

Some of the rhymes took me a moment... like the "V" cut in the concrete... because I'd gotten too hooked on a particular contrast or color "setting", but then stepping back for a moment it was a definite "woah" moment. Lovely.

And welcome to the Driving-Bay-Bridge photography club!
