Description:
Jericho is a FREE monthly Urban Game played in public spaces where everyone assumes the role of a spy. Each team of Agents will carry out missions where they will need to either eliminate their opponents or deliver “top secret documents” to win. Imagine a game of capture the flag played in public, where everyone has a nerf gun. The sneakier a player is, the better. Each player must bring a NERF gun and a hat. Need a nerf gun? See the event link!
(*) We will meet under the Union Square Spire (look for the man in the black "SF" baseball cap) and will spend the first 10-15 mins introducing new players to rules, gameplay, etc. Play area includes Chinatown, Financial District, Knob Hill and SoMA.
(*) We then split up into teams to play an extended 5 mission game. Total time from start to finish will be 3 hours (30min/mission). Players are encouraged to stay but are free to leave at the end of each mission.
(*) Each player must bring their own Nerf Gun and hat. (i.e “The Essentials!”). Watches are useful. If you're unfamiliar with the area, see the event link for a printable map of the area.
(*) Punctuality is very important, but if you are arriving late stay tuned to event link. The end locations for mission 1 and mission 2 will be posted a few days before the event.
(*) Because January is the SF Jericho Meetup anniversary month (We're #1!), we are celebrating with prizes in all the games this month. For those agents performing amazing deeds of espionage, we will be awarding prizes from a local toy store (whatever could it be?!)
