This is the Best Task Yet. And the Best Task Description, too.

Something tells me...

...that they only added this task so they could use this illustration. :)

Now every time I see a mail carrier I freeze and ask myself, "what could I do.......!" Thanks SFZero.

Tried to this today...didn't work very well. He didn't seem very surprised when two teenagers started flinging themselves down the street next to him, one of them wearing a plaid suit.

Well, try, try again. It would have been a lame completion anyhow.

it would be perfect if someone could get their dog to bite his butt.. just enough to rip his pants and show his smiley face boxers..

The dog somehow coming away with smiley face material in it's mouth? It really has never made sense to me how that worked. Was the mailman wearing pants lined with the same fabric as was used to create his undergarments?

OK, this was actually, in many ways quite easy. Though perhaps a mite dangerous... In my case the mailman is also the supply guy. So I just waited until he brought in the mail to sort and then requested a vital missing computer part. I was sure that...

This is possibly the most fun and useful task I've seen so far. But not for the right reasons. See, so my cousin lives with his sister and his mother. And he got some bad grades last quarter in school. He knows that if his mom found out he wouldn't b...

I distracted my mailman by buying him donuts. and then talking to him for half an hour. Roland, the mailman, has been a mailman for 37 years! he has been to india and peru, his favorite bumper sticker is "nobody died when clinton lied", and he seems ...

I really enjoy putting fake names into web forms and sign-up sheets, knowing that eventually someone will sell my name and address. I like to wait and see when these names come back to me. When I lived in a building with a real mailman who would br...

This task was very straightforward. I saw the mailman leaving the street, grabbed my unicorn and my camera, and headed out to distract him. It turns out he had left the street and was preparing to drive his truck/van/vehicle away, but I caught him ju...

I went into work to open today, and on the way passed our UPS deliveryman, who had left a sticker on our door instead of delivering, probably because we were still closed at the time. I didn't really pay it much mind and figured that one of my bosses...

For the last few days, Loya and I have been bickering about who is going to help who with this task. We've both been anxious to catch the mailman at just the right time. I've scoped out his route on several occasions and I've been referring to this...

I completed this task in collaboration with Carnell, one of my neighbors. I was walking home and noticed Carnell (at this point known only to me as the old guy in the red sweater) in conversation with a mailman, and I decided to go help out. I initia...

I poked my head out just as the mail carrier was leaving, and I made some remark about the weather, and she asked me who-all actually lived in our building, since we constantly get mail addressed to former residents who have failed to set up their ma...
