My thought on making this task was that the Found Object has become a standard and recognized form of art. Marcel Duchamp would probably get a kick out of FOUND magazine.
But, things lost, I always wonder about that side of the Found Art story. There's a lot of story and emotion in things lost too. My sister and I used to speculate about how big a room it would take to contain all the things we had lost in our lives.
The better the documentation, the more points, I assume, much like any task. The point certainly isn't to go lose something and see if you can make someone else return it, or to steal someone else's possession in order to return it. (That would be the RANDSOM task, I think.) It's not so different from WORK IS SO STRANGE, which seems to be a favorite.
If you have a really great lost/found object story, let's have it. (If the daemons didn't like the task would they have asked me to edit it, I wonder, or just have ascribed fewer points?)

I'm glad that part of the plan involved pawning videos... where did you come up with that?

I'm writing this story here to demonstrate the task. It didn't just happen to me, but I think it will demonstrate why it's a worthwhile task. When I got the acceptance letter to my college, my little sister congratulated me. "What was THAT for...
wait, you don't have to do anything? just tell about something that's already happened? not sure I follow..
