Shouldn't you be in your best clothes if you're broke in bizarro world?

I so wish I was able to do this one right now - guess it will have to wait until I get back.

Yeah, it's "bizzaro world," not "opposite land." In opposite land, well-dressed people would give away money. In Bizzaro world, people who still look like bums do.

I'm afraid I'm no Superman reader

Hmmm....did some research on Bizarro world and I just don't get it. It seems, in many ways to be "opposite land." People say things like "Me hate chocolate; it is very yummy." The first part means the opposite of what we would mean, but the second part means the same???? Me am not confused. Which brings up another point - should we speak Bizarro speak when we're doing this? I know, I know, I'm overthinking this, but really, I'm just curious about Bizarro World. Personally, I'd rather wear the bum clothes, because I think that will just confuse people even more.

In all honesty I just thought it was a clever name for the task. I've never been a big Superman reader myself, (Vertigo is more my speed) so, fidelity to the concept of bizzaro world wasn’t an original intention of mine when making the task. My major concern was observing the affluent individual ego’s reaction to a perceived homeless person offering up charity ... it's just a happy bonus that there is irony and comedy in there somewhere. I definitely think looking as vagrant as possible will accomplish the task how I had envisioned it, but far be it from me to stifle anyone’s creativity with something as trivial as rules. Rock it however you think it should be rocked!

Come down to the Haight. My buddy Scott told me that he is constantly getting paid to have his picture taken because he looks like a squatter punk kid. Some guy is even going to put his picture in a book. Fuck. Who knew that having no job and spare changing could bring you so much in life?!

I have been wanting to try this task ever since it was first created, but until I returned to Guam, I had not the chance. (Only uniforms and PT gear allowed on base in Baghdad and I think panhandling, even the reverse kind, would have been frowned up...
