ok, thanks to some IRC friends i think i have the meaning

essentially: At a right angle to something.

So review something of one medium in a medium that is at a right angle to the original.

I think the title of the Task comes from the phrase "Talking about art is like dancing about architecture", attributed, actually, to David Bowie.
