Tasks / Fear Factor

Do something that scares you. If you are scared of spiders? pick a few up and make them pets for a day; heights? go to the golden gate bridge and look over and down for a few minutes; ghosts? spend some time in a graveyard ; dark? record audio of your experience in realtime. Bonus points for overcoming a phobia.
This task should be kept a minimum of 1 to 2 players, since the whole "safety in numbers" thing might dampen the fear factor in the task.
As usual, creativity in documentation is imperative.

The phone calls being the specific proof for this task, I'm going to keep my description of them to a minimum. Feel free to listen. I will say that I tried to do it in a way that would prove that the space I was in was changing over the course of the...

I confronted my fear of big bugs. I think this phobia comes from a post-apocalyptic movie called Damnation Alley in which the characters at one point stop in this town infested with KILLER COCKROACHES. There's a scene with a guy covered with th...

This task is going to be completed over the course of the next three days. The Fear: Home alone at night. Last time my boyfrind left, I payed for my sisters ticket and all her expences just so she would stay at my house. Before we lived together, I ...

I think my biggest fear is that oh so pedestrian phobia - acrophobia. I have actually, deliberately, attempted many things purely to spite this phobia with pretty much the same result each time. Here is a list of activities I remember: 1. Volunteeri...

I've been meaning to post this one since this past summer. I went swimming in the ocean. This has been one of my biggest fears ever since childhood. Every year my extended family would go to the beach. All of my cousins and my sisters loved going in ...
