Go into a restaurant of your choice and sit down to eat. During your meal, take notes in a notebook and take pictures of your food, but do it subtly, so as not to call too much attention to yourself. Document your dining experience, especially the quality of service.
Should you actually be asked if you are a food critic, answer creatively. You may even want to have proof of your critic status prepared.
