Damn you all with the required scores!

Feels like an MMO, more awesomeness is always just out of reach.

I must say I love the photo.

What defines kidnapped? And does willingly count towards collaboration?

What would your legal team think about me taking who I kidnap out of the country?

What would your legal team think about me taking who I kidnap into my pants?

I'm thinking that since this requires two players...

kidnapping "victim" gets the 400 points as well.

...then that may unfortunately foster collaboration.

What I think is interesting about this task is that the "victim" has 3 days to notify other players to try to coordinate an escape.

That gets into a conflict of interest:

If a 'victim' willingly goes, then can't they just as willingly escape? No coordination would be necessary.

But...

If a 'victim' is collaborating, that should be sufficient impetus to go along w/ the kidnappers demands.

Interesting... where's this freagin' legal time I keep hearing about?

Not in my opinion. If you're going to kidnap someone right, you remove as many opportunities for them to leave as possible. For instance, taking them away from their city and friends helps... leaving the state/country is a great idea as well. Also, taking away any resources they may have to survive on their own (i.e. their wallet, possessions, cash, etc.) makes a difference. Granted, they can be willing at first, but too bad if you change your mind. ;-)

In a situation where the "victim" doesn't get points but willingly gets kidnaped gently puts the person doing the task in a paranoid situation for 3 days where they have to worry 24/7 that their "victim" might find a way to run away 48 hours into it.

If the "victim" agrees to just be kidnapped and gets 400 points... you might as well just take a vacation together, right?

I personally don't have any experience with this but I sure do think about it a lot now, thanks SF0.

If a person has no option to stay once they went along with it, then the word 'willingly' is technically removed from the equation. Does the phrase "the other player must go willingly" expire after embarking on this journey? Or is it longstanding?

Seriously, this should get cleared up before people start doing this task. So far only two people can right now, but it's going to be more soon.

If you are prosecuted and convicted for completing this task then it does not count as a valid task completion.

Prosecuted and convicted?

Just kidding.

Cunning Linguist was able to ask the question I was really wanting to ask. It takes a linguist, I guess.

I like Sam's answer though. I can't wait to do this one.
