Well, I just meant to maybe provoke a conversation about it--you jumped so quickly, wow! Lucid dreams are awesome. What if we could do pre-lucid-dream tasks for lower points like "state testing" or "practice spinning" or something? What does darkaardvark think?
That's an interesting idea- I think a lower-level task for reality-tests would be fun.
Also, to those looking at this page: It's my intention that there should be no retroactive completions of this tas. If you've had a lucid dream before, then you should complete the more difficult option- having a lucid dream and completing another task within the dream.
If you've never had a lucid dream before, well, then you're not going to be able to do a retroactive completion, will you?
Also, I think this task might do better at level 2, so as to be a stepping stone to the "Lucid Dreaming 2" tasks.
I want to do something like this when I'm knocked out on drugs tomorrow, when I get my wisdom teeth out.
Feel free to dream about me, Vena.
I rarely remember what I do in my waking life as is.
Ambien.
You know you're a hardcore insomniac when two of 'em will turn your bed into a breathing forest but won't knock you out.

So, it seems that everyone has been too busy to complete any new tasks (meaning: you all have lives) and I noticed that my last task is still on the newly completed task list so... I feel like a loser considering I've completed another but hey, I'm l...
Over the course of my efforts to complete this task, I've compiled a fair bunch of words. I've included the first steps of the process, which I put in with "What Is Real?" so that the whole process is documented here. If you don't want to r...

Okay, I'm going to go ahead and post this, but if it turns out that this was not in fact a lucid dream, please tell me and I will continue working on it. As you can tell from sentence one, I am not an experienced lucid dreamer. I had heard of it of ...

First of all thank you for this task. I felt really selfish working on this task as it only serves the task doer to further delve into themselves, but having said that I am so grateful for being given the impetus to do it, as it is something I have a...
I was honestly never expecting to complete this task, because I seldom remember my dreams, let alone achieve lucidity. However, my sleep schedule has been slightly amiss lately, and I think that helped me out. I had a Dream Initiated Lucid Dream (DIL...

This morning I had the most wonderful lucid dream! We were running through the city, through the neighborhood in St. Paul where I used to walk my dog, then we were in the doorway of an enormous sandstone church--constructed along the lines of Minnea...

For some reason, I have always had some, if not complete control over most of my dreams. I have believed that it may be because I am a light sleeper, and don't go deeply into R.E.M.. My control over my dream depends much on the type of dream, as well...

While I am not what I would call a lucid dreamer, I have had them in the past and am slowly learning to recognize them. I don't use any sort of triggers, I just suddenly realized "Hey, I'm dreaming." This was followed by "Am I on any altering substan...

Lucid Dreaming There was a time in my life that I smoked. I discovered as I tried to quit that while I was on the patch it became hard to fall asleep, but when I could sleep I found that I could control my dreams and that I wasn’t a slave to them....
