Many things are manufactured/constructed/made right here in our own backyard.
Plan a tour of a local factory for a group of players. Try to get a personal tour if at all possible.
Document what you learn with photographs, audio and/or video footage. Focus on the impact the factory has on the San francisco Bay area. This includes economic, enviromental and other effects.
Be ballsy in the questions that you ask: how does the minimum wage effect their business? Do they hire illegal immigrents? What is done with the waste that is generated by the manufacturing process? Don't accept a simple "we don't do that here" answer.
