I think this task should be changed to "Move away from Minneapolis".

Hey Star5, this is your chance to finally make your move on Olivier X.

if only i had joined sf0 pre january of this year, as i was in sf for jan - april.

though if you move to sf for sf0, wouldn't the cost of the move pretty much diminish your score if you're keeping track of anti-consumer?

Awesome task.

Not gonna happen.

Though obviously the higher per capita score for Twin Cities residents bespeaks a need for a "move to Minneapolis" task...cuz, you know, if you really want to rack up the points...

This is kind of clever. Because if you already live in SF, you shouldn't be able to get the points, right?

I would hope that you'd only get points if you move from somewhere that is not san francisco, to the city itself. Starting out in sf and moving to a new house for example, would not be following this task.

It'd be really neat if you got points somehow in reference to how many miles you came from.

If you actually relocate to San Francisco specifically for this task and for SFZero, and can prove it, then the task is worth ((number of miles you came from)/10) points (as per Inktea's excellent suggestion) but still has a required score of 10.

Come one, come all.

I have to be another voice on rabbit's behalf on this one. AFAIK there were a number of factors in rabbit's decision to move to SF and I know for a fact that certain events and certain coincidences have helped his decision - a few of those things would have not all come together if it wasn't for SFZero.

In fact, I cannot wait for his write-up about it next month. I was involved in one or two key bits of it as well as quite a few other SFZero players - some more active than others. I think one or two of them probably don't know how they were part of the chain reaction yet. I know there's a ton I don't know about as well.

Don't retire this task!

Task ID number, just noticed that, seems kind of funny.

FOR THE LOVE OF OLIVER, SOMEONE REOPEN THIS TASK.

rabbit: Where to begin? The completion of this task has to be by far one of the best ones I've done so far. I know people's first thoughts are "oh, he was already planning to move to SF and he's just getting easy points." But the truth of the matt...

You might think of me as a Chicago girl. If you're careful I might let you call me a Naperville girl. If you call me an Ann Arbor girl, I'll fuck you up. But as of June 4th, I have been a San Francisco girl, and I plan on staying for the [very won...

I live in the Marina! I can't afford it, and I'm dangerously close to financial ruin, but to all outward appearances I am one loaded, hip, urban guy.

I did it just for the score, yup. (and yes I waited at least the requisite 36.5 days before submitting proof)

I moved here in June. Leaving in August. Learned about SF0 in the first week. Can't say I moved here for it per se but, if I could, I would stay/return for it....
