Tasks / Strange Garb

This task is retired.

Go somewhere dressed in unorthodox clothes.

For instance, you could sunbathe at the beach in a three-piece suit or go to work in a kimono. Use your judgment: for instance, if you're somehow a modern geisha, then wearing a kimono to work wouldn't be so unorthodox.

Take photos as proof.

Skirting Chicago [in Winter] I have been crossdressing off and on since I was 16, and I must say that what I wear is not at all unorthodox in the Bay Area, where I am originally from. But I have since moved to Chicago, and I have discovered that t...

We decided to confuse the Sunday afternoon beachgoers and hang out at the beach, on a hot July day, in our winter clothes. We live in Chicago so our winter clothes are pretty serious. We played frisbee and played in the sand and did some sunbathing. ...

I did not intend for this to happen on April Fools day, but oh well. At least I didn't get Rickrolled and I gave my coworkers some laughs. When thinking about this challenge I thought about what constituted strange garb for me... and well, it's the o...

One lovely Monday evening, the AAØ boys decided that despite inclement weather conditions (sleet and snow), it would be a great idea to work on their tans. So they did. And my, what an evening it was. Their sunburns are healing faster than their fro...

I saw this and realized it would be the perfect oppertunity for my very first task. I totally dressed up as a man and headed off to school. I walked around with a couple chicks on each arm... I was such a pimp. This is actually a sort of tradition in...

This task is sort of diffficult for me in that I frequently wear innapropriate garb, in fact I have a problem wearing appropriate garb. I was going to wear my wedding dress grocery shopping, but my sister would have had to lace me in and it takes F...

Do you remember that San Francisco Freak? You know... that one that you spotted shortly after arriving that made you say, "Ahhh... it's good to be back in SF"? Well, today I was that freak... at least for a little while. I went to SFO at luncht...

The one issue I have with Boston is that there is no nearby Arby's. (And yet, there are usually at least three Dunkin Donuts visible from any given point.) So I declared a plan to visit to the nearest Arby's and dress inappropriately. Look at the pic...

Well, though this was way back in October, I still feel that it is a fine example of strange garb. My friend and I were super excited for spirit week this year because we loved the dress-up days. Unfortunately the school decided to cancel those this ...
