Tasks / Survive DC: 2010

This task is retired.

Journey to the End of the Night is a race through the streets of DC. You will try to make it to six checkpoints as fast as you can, while avoiding being caught by chasers. Those who survive will be praised and feted at the end. Those who fall will become chasers themselves, rising to pursue their former friends and allies.

Tell us your story of the night. Make it a true story, one that pays testament to your epic journey.

So I'd heard about Survive the year before...which was when I had sprained my ankle and for some reason none of my friends decided to go. This year it would be different... I gathered a group of 30 people, from DC and the MD suburbs and we assembled...

I made it about 100 yards from checkpoint #1 before getting tagged just outside Chinatown. Several girls thereafter learned that wearing flipflops in a game of tag is not particularly wise. :)
