Or you could set up the tree to be about to fall. Or you could master some form of meditation such that you're not entirely there. And from there we get into pun territory - an art at which SFZero players excel.

one interpretation: I think a Buddhist would answer neither yes or no. I think this Koan is really an answer and not a question. The Buddha would make statements like this, not to find the right answer, but to bring the student back into the moment.
