INSTRUCTIONS: Create a real world version of a pun, word play, or bad joke.

So first I am going to tell you the story of my preparations for the creation of a real world pun. If you think that's boring, feel free to skip down to the actual pun. A fair warning though: it's pretty bad.

For this praxis I needed two things. The first was easily obtained from the Portland Public library. It was just a matter of looking it up on the catalog, finding it's catalog number,

finding where in the library it was,

and then just checking it out.

Easily done.

The other component was a little bit harder to find. I knew that it was in Portland, having come across it one day while bicycling around, but I didn't remember exactly where it was. But I knew it was out there (if I didn't, I probably wouldn't've done this praxis), so I set off to find it. I knew it was in the Northwest quadrant of Portland, by the river

and the highway.

Once there, I was able to find the path I had taken last time

And soon I had reached my goal

Everything thing was in place. With all the parts gathered, I just had to

Put Descartes

Before The Horse

And that, I'm sorry to say, is the end.

I think this is the only Praxis I've done that I've felt legitimately bad about.

Xed? Really? It deserves a groan for sure, but an X? Where was fault to be found here? I mean sure, it's no waist of paper, but it's certainly a legitimate completion.
