Puns of the Navarone by JJason Recognition
December 11th, 2008 8:15 PMFor this praxis I needed two things. The first was easily obtained from the Portland Public library. It was just a matter of looking it up on the catalog, finding it's catalog number,

finding where in the library it was,

and then just checking it out.

Easily done.
The other component was a little bit harder to find. I knew that it was in Portland, having come across it one day while bicycling around, but I didn't remember exactly where it was. But I knew it was out there (if I didn't, I probably wouldn't've done this praxis), so I set off to find it. I knew it was in the Northwest quadrant of Portland, by the river

and the highway.

Once there, I was able to find the path I had taken last time

And soon I had reached my goal

Everything thing was in place. With all the parts gathered, I just had to

And that, I'm sorry to say, is the end.

The advice was precisely not to put Descarte before de horse. They knew you'd feel bad about it.
This proof has been flagged by 6 of your fellow players (for the benefit of all, flags are anonymous). As such, it has been automatically disapproved. Most likely, they've posted comments explaining why they're displeased. If you think you may be the victim of a bug, injustice, or a gang of Rubins, hit up the contact page.
Hm... that doesn't seem right.
Injustice indeed. This praxis is genuinely lulz-worthy.
EDIT: And just plain old worthy, too. And vote worthy as well! THIS HAS WORTH!
Xed? Really? It deserves a groan for sure, but an X? Where was fault to be found here? I mean sure, it's no waist of paper, but it's certainly a legitimate completion.
Something broke in the code methinks. I only had one point to vote, and somehow it now displays as a five-vote. I call shenanigans. Sean?
Man, I knew the pun was bad but I didn't think it was break-the-site bad
I liked that you went through the maximum amount of work to achieve what was a fairly simple completion.
I'm in the same boat as Waldo.
Seriously, JJason, your pun is so bad it made the site software groan in agony. Nicely done.
Anti-pun sockpuppets, broken vote math... Buh...
UPDATE: I'll get you yet, Mr "itisveryparanoid / Addiedo / Alouette / Redacted / Fontana / scienceguru / 76.195.11.99 (AT&T user)"!
can you really summon sean just by typing his name?
Many thanks to Sean for fixing my praxis.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
Oh
My
Gods.
Thank you, I think I just broke something.
This should absolutely *not* be flagged! I demand unflagging!
I join the angry mob that screams "mistake!" and demands unflagging.
I endorse this product or service!

Not cool, Ink Tea.
...
Maybe a little.
Hilarious praxis, JJ.
Okay, so this is obviously the best thing I think I've ever seen. Bravo, and major props. This took some thinking and some time.
I think this is the only Praxis I've done that I've felt legitimately bad about.
