INSTRUCTIONS: Paint a fellow player - we'd really prefer that you use their player photo as your model, though. Any medium/style, but let us know what you end up doing with it.

My favorite player photo belongs to Bex. She's in good company though. Some players have gone out of the way to be awesome in their player photo, I won't start listing players with awesome photos, because that'll take all night. Know that there are many that I love and respect. But Bex has the best one. So, as a tribute to her, I have chosen her for this task. And since I had just learned a new art form to complete another task, I decided to apply that new skill here. So I give you a sculpture of Bex (the hero) in packing tape and Saran wrap:

And I know this doesn't really follow the letter of the task, as I haven't painted her, but it does say I can use any medium I like, so I chose packing tape as my medium. This is what a painting in packing tape looks like.

Also, what I'm going to do is give it to Bex when next I see her. Because she deserves it.

Once you have a Bex-jumping-off-of-a-cliff-naked statue, you can do all kinds of cool things with it, like having her act out the scene in The Matrix where Neo is dodging the bullets in slow motion.

Or you can make her act out that scene from Platoon where Elias gets left behind to die.


Hero

Or you can act out any action movie ever when the hero is running away from the building or car or whatever and just before it explodes in a giant fireball behind our hero, they jump the last few feet to safety. It's Bruce Willis jumping off of the Nakatomi building, it's Mel Gibson and Danny Glover outside of that building that blows, it's also Arnold Schwarzenegger hanging on for dear life as the spaceport loses it's atmosphere.

Plus pushing the all new and wonderful Saran-tape technique-TM to the limits of beauty. So good to be awake on nights like this.

I agree that having pioneered this amazing translucent sculpting technique, you should definitely apply and extend it to more tasks.

ohmigaw. I can't believe i just saw this. So damn flattered.
And its true, I do regularly jump away from exploding things, with my invisibility suit on, even. (well, even if it doesn't make me invisible, the suit is invisible).

A little bit of an update, because I was inspired Palindromedary's take on the task. I had never tried this new ASCII artform before and had to try it out. And since there is absolutely nothing wrong with updating old tasks, I have done that here.
