Description:

Do you seek psycho-sensual growth and renewal? Do you wish to reach out to the recondite family that awaits you?

The Playtime Anti-Boredom Society is ever on the lookout for fellow practitioners of Superior Reality Design, and we'd like to draw your attention one such organization. Sam, Ian and I recently underwent an induction proceeding at the local branch of The Jejune Institute.

All we know about this presence in the city is from our visit to their office, but that managed experience was expertly crafted. The office is open from noon-5:30 Tuesday-Saturday, and there's some not-necessary further information at the website.

If you seek juvenation (or if you've been looking to hone your tasking skills), you should find it worth the visit.

What exactly does one make of the magic water, the strap-on forcefield, and the hand-held conflict resolution gizmo?

"Though largely uncredited, The Jejune Institute was an integral part of the philosophical breeding grounds of EST, Esalen, and Dianetics, which collectively spawned a thousand like-minded schools of pop psychology"

I'm not sure there's a huge rush to take the credit for EST and Scientology nowadays :,>

That's 580, not 680, California. ;) Only know this because I've done it myself.

Did anyone else get the text message from all those signs posted up on chainlink fences? It was a link to their website... Bjorn and I called the number a couple of weeks back and thought it was fascinating...

Thier focus isn't on the players +3

Don't be fooled, as much as this is initially enjoyable, their intentions are completely elsewhere.

Do you want us to go, or do we also have the pleasure of your company?

It was, simply, amazing.
I've done a decent amount of this sort of thing, and found it to be probably the best produced, ever.
If you can go, do. You won't regret it (if they don't care about the players, Rubin, they sure to put out an effort for them).

If you can't go, there is plenty to be found about it on the web (try Unfiction: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=26817 though be prepared for lots of spoilers).
I'm not sure, but I got the feeling they'd still be open into January.

Just brilliant.
