Here I was getting all pissed off about the game being on Halloween night... Which means I would miss the game and be a very sad clown.

Now I notice the start time says 5:00 AM.

Seriously? The game starts at 0500? Or is that a typo?

A typo indeed I'm afraid.

[expletive]

I could go on about how I think it's a bad date pick, but...

Instead I'll just ask that someone run another JTTEOTN soon.

I second MPuzzle's frustration.

Halloween is almost literally the ONLY thing I can't reschedule for.

This needs to happen again soon, I have a pile of people who wanted to play after hearing about the last one.

We all have to make choices. Inspired by our friends in the Bay Area, we're choosing to play a big game of tag on Halloween. It's sad if someone can't be there (it's just to the end of the night not the end of the world!) Other games are coming, including a third run in the spring.

I will endeavor to be at the spring one. There are however some weekends I cannot be out of town for, so my presence will depend on the date.

Still, spring Journey? In Minnesota, where the spring is glorious albeit woefully brief? With MN0, which is a collection of very awesome people? Fuck yeah.

Thanks for the good news about a potential spring run, Burn Unit.

Didn't mean to sound like a selfish jerk about the timing of the game on Halloween. It's a cool idea and I'm sure a lot of people will be able to make it; I'm just disappointed that I won't be one of them. The first Journey was amazing, and I've been looking forward to another one ever since. Thanks to you, JJASON, and the others for making them happen.

Looking forward to the spring run.

Does anybody want a custom essay referring to Journey to the End of the Night - Minnesota? I'm kind of amused by the thought of what they might have to say about it.

... Do I win a prize if I can make it to this game? I could be persuaded to make it to this game, if there is a prize.

Okay, I take it back. There's no way I could make it from Seattle to Minneapolis in 18 hours, is there?

Plane. But that is pricefullish.

You would get to maintain your most-Journeys crown (rather than having to share it with me and live in perpetual fear that the next Journey will be the one at which I seize it for my own). ;)

Unless you can curve space or warp time, crossing the flat earth will take too long.

Hm. I'm in favor of the date being subject to change, as April 16-18 is the only weekend that month I wouldn't be able to get myself there for it and I do not wish to miss this.
