Time can be when you want really, as long as you bear in mind we are 7 hours ahead of SF time.

Most of them were recorded at like 10 SF time which is like 17:00 over here.

Allthough annaone did hers closer to midday I remember.

Bassicly, early enough so it can be recorded, edited and released on the saturday(If possible).

Actually are we now like 8 hours ahead, cause of DST? Cause I posted that comment above when is was 11:18 here.

Or has the site just not changed yet? Cause this would leave slightly less flexibility in the timing for the podcast.

I think they have summer time in the US. I don't know.

It was confusing watching BBC News 24 this morning when it suddenly went from being 1am to 3am.

Sorry, I had to google it:

The EU begins Summer Time at 1:00 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time on the last Sunday in March and reverts to Standard Time at 1:00 a.m. GMT on the last Sunday in October. All time zones change at the same moment. While European nations took advantage of a seasonal time change for decades, in 1996 the EU standardized the “summertime period.”

The U.S. begins Daylight Saving Time at 2:00 a.m. local time on the second Sunday in March and reverts to Standard Time at 2:00 a.m. local time on the first Sunday in November. DST is not observed in Hawaii or Arizona, with the exception of the Navajo Nation, which does observe DST, even in Arizona.

Is that right?, I didn't get it from wikipedia so idk

So according to this the USA has allready had it?

Yes. We are already rocking the daylight savings. Have been for awhile now.

Yeah, so we're back to the 8 hour UK-SF gap, so 10 SF time is still fine by us it's still only 6 o'clock, and on a Saturday night, there's not a huge limit as to when I can stay up, although I won't want to go past 1 in the morning here (5 for SF).

So who's going to be the first to sign up, in otherwords next weeks guest, we need to know soon so we can get people to mail us questions etc.

This weeks guest is Lank!

Send in your questions, comments, podtasks, anything!

The weekly question that needs replies this week is: What question should we ask next week? (that's what you get for not preparing properly)

If you want to get involved, catch us on Skype, or mail us!

Hi all!

We're planning on trying out SkypeCast, so anyone who wishes to can listen in and speak whilst we're recording. We'll be starting at approximately 9am SF time if anyone's free, simply ask us over Skype for the link then (it's not setup yet) and we'll have you listening in in no time!

It should also improve quality a lot. Seeing as we'll be relying on Skype Servers rather than our crappy computers!

Last weeks question was, what question should we ask this week?

Remember, send in or comment here with your questions for Lank, I'm sure there's more out there!

ATTENTION ALL

https://skypecasts.skype.com/skypecasts/skypecast/detailed.html?id_talk=4130469&hash=6a3e3f38e86b14dead96

5th April - 10am SF time OR 6pm UK time
Any other timezones should be able to work it out from that.

This is an important link, this is the link which will get you into the SF0 podcast conference. Follow this link, you will then have to log in with your skype details, then you need to allow the script access to skype (basicly saying yes to a popup box) then you should be in. A chat window should be made where you can request to be moved into the talking list of the cast. We really should try and keep it to:

The two hosts (Daryl and Tom)
Guest (Lank)
And one guest caller

Or else we run the risk of something bad happening which could vary from:

Pamela dieing
A person's PC dieing (most likely Tom's)
The skypecast dieing all together

So please do not get annoyed if you can't talk as soon as you request, we need to try and keep all failures to a minimum.

Also Live listeners will have the chance to hear the many outtakes we have, but aren't in the recorded version to make us look professional.

I hope this idea works well and continues to bring a new level of player interaction to the cast. But please send in for mailbag etc. We still need stuff to read out.

Hope to see as many of you as possible tomorrow. If you have any problems try contacting Daryl (dazza-13 on skype) as he is running the skypecast and recording it).

Yours
