Tasks / A Window In Your World

This task is retired.

There is a theory that organisms define objects by how they can be acted upon. These uses, these connotations, are called tones. A new leather shoe has walking tones for you, but perhaps for you dog it would have chewing tones. A tree may mean nothing to your friend, but for you it may have distinct climbing tones.

Draw a map of your neighborhood, your office, or some other significant place. Instead of labeling it geographically or objectively, label everything by what tones they hold for you, personally.

I imagine this could be beautiful in the form of a typographic map.
