I am consumed with a burning desire to know how many points this is worth.

EDIT: FEB. 17th 2011
I wrote this in seventh grade. In 2008. And I'm writing this in 2011. And it's abysmal and emo, like any seventh grader who writes love poetry in seventh grade writes, but it's also really funny to me, so I'm leaving it on here.

I wrote this a while ago

1.

I know that this is but a refrain
But I must tell you dulled the pain
I say this again.

I know that I’m a hopeless romantic.
Constantly working on a new antic.
I am such a zealous fanatic.

You know what I’m going to say.
I might say it again today.
And still I pray.

2.

Today I am not alone.
My flesh my blood, my bone.
Are enveloped by a happy tone.

I have learned an important thing.
When all logic took it’s wing.
My heart began to sing.

It was a joyful beat.
Accompanied by sunshine heat.
From My head to my feet.

It’s like someone ripped your heat out.
And yet you are not filled with doubt.
You know where it’s about.

Somebody else stole it.
With their charisma and their wit.
And they are fully fit.
To have it.

And they left theirs behind.
But you don’t mind
It’s not somewhere you can find.

But it’s there all the same.
Like an ever warming flame.
