Because I cannot be part of this construction, here is the advice from Chicagø, via the genius of the Center for Book & Paper:
1) sculpt a biplane, however big, using insulation foam (those big sheets of pink stuff, laminated together, can be carved)
2) cover the thing in plastic wrap
3) make a positive-from-positive cast, a.k.a. paper maché it
4) cut it apart to extract the mold, then reassemble the pieces of the cast
In my understanding, you could make a paper plane as big as your living room by this method
Rock tastic!! We are so doing this!!!
Name a time and date and lets get on this shit!!
Bandit: Why can't you be part of the construction? Come join us this weekend. Do.
I work during Saturday day but I'm free after 5! We can construct at my place if you'd like!
