The theme will be Alice in Wonderland.
Minch Niddle and Spidere are very excited to be putting together an SF0 Prom! It will happen, and we expect that it will be fantastic.
We have a location! Now we need people who want to help:
A) Decorate (decoration party Friday night--Minch has many excellent ideas)
B) Acquire and set up refreshments (including a tea party, of course)
C) Arrange music (lowteck, being awesome, has volunteered to deejay; but the location (apartment building) has some noise limitations, so set up an autoplay list for the latter part of the evening)
Did we mention the fantastic? :) Send a message to Spidere and Minch if you have ideas for helping.

I feel this is an important event, one worth traveling for... now if we only had a transporter beam to bring all our far far away players to town with.

I've never been to one of those. We had balls: waltz and cha-cha and such. My Mom made my dress in sixth form and I made my own in seventh.
Sadly, I shall not be attending this one. Someday, someday I'll go to prom!
Man, I wish I could make it. This'd be a great chance to bust out m'spats.
I think the Hatter wore a pair. I wore a pair of spats to my prom.
I wore tap shoes to mine. (I am not nor ever was a tap dancer.)
I wore a powder blue ballroom skirt with a wifebeater tanktop and combat boots. my hair was 3 inches long and spiky. I had a bubble gun and a duffel bag full of Dum-Dums. My date wore a Tigger suit and we were inside for all of 15 minutes. We succesfully got the DJ to play Pantera right before we left. I've never seen so many corsaged and perfectly-curled coifs glaring at me at once. But there's still time.
did i mention we held a pre-prom tailgate party outside, complete with a barbecue pit?
Man, why couldn't you people have gone to my prom?

If a bunch of people want to help me move my stuff from Berkeley to my parent's garage in San Jose, I'd totally go to prom!

I will drive up there early just to help you move. I actually love helping people move. I do it all of the time.

The gummies are against the construction of a Minch-omatic device. If there were many Minches, this would likely cause the gummies much confusion and possibly heartbreak. There can only be one beloved Minch.

i wanted to task early summer, when I was in socal, but then I was sick and then I forgot and then I went back up to berkeley.
and I return to socal the day you re-enter the bay.

I know. I know. And after prom, I will be away from my home for over a month. Tasking will have to wait...
To follow in my tradition of being a social-outcast I may well hold an Anti-Prom party at my house. This is what I did for my High School Prom.

I have lovely visions for our prom and need many helping hands to bring those visions out of my head and into reality.

then might I suggest, a slightly earlier party arrival than usual to assist in setting up. who needs fashionably late when you can have dorkily early :)
We've talked about mirror-theming the entryway; is anyone interested in a set of Through the Looking Glass themed mirror installation for decoration? ...preferably someone with access to mirrors. :)
If you promise to be careful, I have a couple of big beautiful gold mirrors I could bring.

When Sean and Sam showed up and I spazed out and ran around the room in circles squealing and squeaking incoherently only to end up shaking in the corner trying not to wet my pants I was so excited (I had never met them before). Luckily, they were very nice about me being a complete nut case.

1. It was in my bathroom. Doktor Harmon either swiped it or threw it away.
2. That is a glass of water. When I walked in and was rolled over and on the ground, Lank asked me if he could get me anything, I said I would like some water. That is what he handed to me.

It's amazing how perfect our eyelines are for having not seen a picture of the actual monument in awhile.
Cause Lincoln's the only one with the mustache to pull off Roosevelt.
Why is Lank Lincoln? Because of history. You of all people should know the answer to that.
I was totally wrong, mixing up Lincoln and Roosevelt, whereas Lank was totally right. I'd just like to publicly recognize that. :)
It is mightily confusing that the presidents don't go in order of their terms.
