Tasks / Community

This task is retired.

Liven up the SFØ community.

Here's how: Comment on every praxis. Comment on pretired tasks.

You don't have to task, you don't have to vote, but you have to comment.

The more comments that float around the site, the more alive it feels. The more alive it feels, the more I will be interested in posting more praxis, because lets face it, writing up a praxis is tough work, and if I think that nobody will see it, then I'd rather spend that time watching Community or writing a play or playing baseball.

So comment on everything.

You know that part at the bottom of your homepage that shows friends' comments? Lets make that thing fill up fast. Lets make it so that in order to catch everything that everybody says, you have to log on more than once a day. Instead of once a week like you've been doing.

Lets make SFØ vital and important again.

And a good way to watch the site to really see what's happening is to view it like this.

I've been thinking about returning for a while, and this seems to be a good way to start!
From now, my visits to this site will be more frequent. I shall stop lurking and start speaking again. Because you're absolutely right; if everyone comments on things, the community will come back to life. I have missed this community in the time I've been away. It's about time I returned and actually earned this senator badge of mine...

If you're thinking of returning to tasking, I know where you can start...

That is a very good idea! I think I will first practise drawing the characters, so that I can get them to be more consistent. But then I will eventually continue the story, or possibly start from scratch if I end up having significantly better character designs. I had a long-term plan for where that was going, and it will be nice to get the story moving again!

I really liked the story and you left us with a bit of a cliffhanger.
I don't care at all about the quality of the design.
The fun you were having doing it (and the fun I was having reading it) were all that mattered.
I keep checking back to see if you've updated it, someday I have a feeling I'll look back and see that you have.

Thank you for writing this. This idea has already spread to other parts of my life as well.

Make the lonely silence stop!
