Tasks / Secret Wall Tattoos

Be inspired by this website to make some hidden art in a place that is not your own.
To clarify, secretwalltatoos.com displays works of art (paintings and drawings) that lie hidden behind objects such as mirrors, photographs, and paintings. Hiding such art - on the wall, and not in your home or place or business - is your goal

The clarification was added by the PTBs, but I think it's a good one.
The site shows a few hidden works that are placed on the underside of chairs. Would such a deviation from the literal be acceptable? What about non-wall room surfaces, such as ceilings or floors?
Sure, you can go for deviations in placement, if you feel strongly that your unique vision for a completion necessitates that. The main thing to stick to is the hiding.
However, I expect that the more bold you are, the more votes you'll garner...
Does the "art" have do be strictly painting or drawing?
"…That being said, it's always nice to see a task attacked in a variety of ways. Ideally, a well conceived task offers players room to bring their own creativity to the obstruction/inspiration provided: Trespassing, for example, would encompass sneaking into a number of specific buildings. Or functions. Or cyberspaces. And so on.…"

Hang on, is this task retired or not? Cause I want to do it!!!!
Email Sean. Or do it anyway, then ask him how to submit it :)
Someone coded the navbar over on the left so that it listed incoming tasks - those not approved yet, but soon. This problem has since been addressed.
Anybody see this week's episode of White Collar?

The Richard B. Gump Field Research Station on Mo'orea, French Polynesia is used, time-share style, by many universities and organizations. Over the years, a rather ... eclectic ... mix of reading materials have come to reside here, via donation or fo...

I found myself in a hotel room last weekend. I kept looking at this mirror across from my bed, so I decided to leave a secret wall tattoo. And what better to put behind a mirror than a self portrait? This is the Best Western in Chicago on 3434 N. Bro...

Good Nite Inn 1675 Industrial Park Ave Redlands, CA 92374 Room 226 The Good Nite Inn is no 4 star hotel so I knew it needed a little whimsy to brighten it up. There was some pretty gross art on the wall, but painting isn't my specialty. Making min...

I went in completely prepared to do this task - or so I thought. I brought along two screwdrivers (standard and Phillips) in case screws needed removing, and three Sharpies. When I was waiting in line at the front desk, I noticed a sign that told g...

I was in a grim, seedy hotel feeling annoyed by the state of artificial intelligence research and impatient to head out for this year's Harry Potter convention when I realized that I should not pass up the tasking opportunity at hand.

Back at the hotel room, I'm sitting back watching Batman and eating oranges. A slice falls, tumbling under the air conditioning unit. Reaching under, I find something scrawled on the wall just above the floor. I was sure I had seen something li...

As part of the Night of Street Art event, us, young, aspiring street artists just HAD to get in on the fun, especially with it being through SF0. So with the idea of "Where: Everywhere. Especially wherever you happen to be", we thought we could ev...

This is not exactly an epic completion, but the opportunity for spontaneous tasking arose & I took it. Some background: I found myself trapped in Fallon, Nevada for some vague 'family event' before my final drive from conservative-butthole-of-no...

Ariock Says: hmrpita and I have been talking about this since the task became available. How do you do this? Where can you do this? I mean, under some definitions, this would be vandalism. Or some other legal term that could result in visits from ...
Really getting detailed with the stipulations on the new tasks guys.

Man you are tempting me to join a group.
