Whereas: the SFZero Senate has delivered much leadership in the form of inspiration and quality tasking,
And Whereas: the absence of clear or mechanical powers has not hindered the exercise of this senatorial leadership,
And Whereas: the players who bear the badge of Senator have made their contributions through the engine of praxis,
And Whereas: while these efforts have been discernible in indirect action, and have increased the global bounty of SFZero mightily, the presence of intentional, Senate-specific actions has heretofore been limited.
Therefore be it RESOLVED: that the SFZero community recognizes the recurrent event planning, community building, player outreach, and inspirational leadership of the SFZero Senate,
And be it FURTHER RESOLVED: that we call on the SFZero Senators to join in a community-focused effort to inspire and lead the SFZero community into Everyday Life,
And be it FURTHER RESOLVED: that the name for this process shall be Re-Election 2008, and that we call on the individual members of the senate to publicly set for themselves a threshold for their re-election, and we call on them to strive to achieve this threshold by November 5, 2008.

I am getting zerø response from my campaign. Is this a general level of ambivalence in the community? Or in the Senate? Or in my re-election? It's hard to tell.
I think there are not enough people who HAVEN'T voted to understand the concept of senatorship at the moment.
I hereby offer to complete at least thirty five (35) vote-worthy feats and/or deeds—think tasks or 'micro-tasks'—for anyone who requests them between the 1st of September and the end of "real world" election day, November 4.
You the players are cordially invited to play the upper hands in an epic game of "Let Another Person Plan Your Term of Office".
Burn Unit will complete 35 tasks worth at least 5 points (i.e., one vote) by request over the course of the next couple months. Proof of these activities will be funneled into my existing Campaign Trail proof.
If my actions and campaigning do not garner 35 additional votes on the Campaign Trail praxis by election day, I will consider it a defeat in the Re Election and request that my Senator Badge be altered to reflect my "former senator" status.
Obviously people who have already voted for Burn Unit last time will be unable to vote on that task. However, you may also request a deed, which I will complete along with the others. I only ask that you then reach out to another player on my behalf once I complete it.
In a sense we've FAILED in the enactment of legislation as Senators, and I feel the pain of this fact often. But we've SUCCEEDED so many times in the realm of praxis. The only way I can think of to make up for the one, is moar praxis. So that's what I'm doing.
