If you live in [America], and are available on the afternoon of May 15th, GO OUT AND BUY AS MANY CARROTS AS YOU CAN.
the lady and I were lurking about, and discovered Haberley Mead's profile. On it, he describes an event during which all enterprising carrot lovers in the UK will buy out the world's carrot supply for use in various carrot related...things. We determined that this was awesome. We feel that the enterprising carrot lovers on this side of the pond need to chip in.
Step 1. Buy out the world's carrots.
Step 2. ???
Step 3. PROFIT!
...or something like that.
Bonus awesome if you do something clever/task with your carrots!

Precisely. Good to have you on board!
We'd get profit as a result of the actions in Step 2.
Yeah, why not.
Im gonna pop to Lidl and buy up all the carrots there on 15th.
Would anyone be interested in mobbing from store to store buying carrots simultaneously???
there is great potential for waste here. could someone please at least make a carrot headdress, or wait-
a carrot dress
and then wear it back into the bought-out store asking for more carrots?
i would, but orange isn't my color.
Wearing carrots would make for one of the best task completions to date.
What is that internet nerd phrase? GMTA?
Lincoln will be our Carrot King.
Also, I'm submitting a carrot task for use of this event. You probably have, too, but I can't resist. :D
I was nervous about this task, because I live in a horse community. Every supermarket here has many many carrots. If you'll notice in my task, I bought 30 pounds of carrots and didn't even come close to buying out the shelf much less the store. Look at that picture of all of those carrots. Getting them all from just the one store would cost hundreds of dollars (even with my club card) and wouldn't all fit in my car not to mention a shopping cart.
Wait until I post my Regular Animal Documentation and you see the two horses I live with.
People are talking about something I brought to the table? I feel all famous!
I know exactly what to do with my carrots...
Yeah, where do the rest of you live where you could even conceive of buying all the carrots in a store? We don't even have a lot of horses around here, but there are a lot of carrots in supermarkets.
There is a band called The Carrots playing an in-store show at Amoeba in Berkeley...
Conspiracy
PROFIT!
