Tasks / Character Business Cards

Make business cards for your character. If you like, you may hand them out when doing tasks for the game. You may want to make a calling (or "visiting") card instead:
The essential convention was that one person would not expect to see another person in their own home ... without first leaving their visiting card with the person at their home. Upon leaving the card, they would not expect to be admitted at first, but might receive a card at their own home in response. This would serve as a signal that a personal visit and meeting at home would not be unwelcome. On the other hand, if no card was forthcoming in return, or if a card was sent in an envelope, a personal visit was thereby discouraged.

Dropped off my design last night at Kinko's on Van Ness (it's 24 hours, but at night they're not particularly thorough in their assistance, or at least this one guy wasn't), just got back from picking them up and cutting them tonight. I got the graph...

Before I got to college, I had a summer job that involved playing around with a graphics program. That was fun, so when I got to college, I taught myself how to program in the Postscript language, which is a fairly common language that printers spea...

This is my business card. I believe it fits in with my SF0 group of bartpa because it is a train ticket, this is what the style of ticket in the UK. The design is simple and includes my myspace address and name.

With the Interregnum drawing to a close shortly, I regretfully admit that forces beyond my control have prevented me from fully enacting my Grand Scheme -- but for your entertainment I will present the account of my initial "test run". I ...

Created business cards which simply state "There is a crisis in our city. Won't you choose to be implicated?" Then my contact info and the sf0 website. I put in a stylized representation of the Humanitarian Crisis fist logo, which I color yellow on ...

I went full-bore OCD on this task. I had the flash of design inspiration months ago, but midway through completion I had another flash of inspiration that made me want to make a scalable (vector) version of the BARTpa logo so that other players c...

I spent the good part of my day at work in my fort (see 'work is so strange') creating my beautiful character business cards. There is a front and back to them. The back has the secret rules of the game as well as an excellent quote about dolphins ...

I have been curious about braille lately (in spite of not having any serious vision problems), so for my visiting card I decided to try some basic braille. I had some blank business cards already, so I used those. Read more info about how I made the ...

So, I decided to make a sort of "Orange Rose was here" cards to leave behind where I had tasked. Perhaps put on a string, and hung somewhere nearby. So, I took out some little paper circles I've been hanging onto for something just like th...

When I first read through the list of tasks upon first joing SF0, this is one of the ones that really called out to me. Not because it's a fantastically interesting Task to do, not because I just wanted to rack up points easily and get through the le...
