Culinary Adventure

Combine two seemingly different food items to create a new meal/snack. These items should elicit an initial response somewhere along the lines of "yuck" or "gross", but should ultimately be delicious.

Consume the newly created culinary experiment and report your opinion.

For extra points, get someone who is not playing SFZero to try your new item.

Physical Email Experiment One

A letter that is to be sent by USPS is given to player one. He or she types it up as an email and then emails it to player two, who prints it out, puts it back into an envelope and delivers it to the addressee. Feel free to include as many members as you wish by creating more nodes between the sender and addressee (player one emails player two who mails player three who emails player four who mails the addressee, etc.).

Virtual San Francisco PHASE 1: Indexing/Data Collection

Work with other members of Equivalenz and Other Groups to create a virtual representation of a section of San Francisco. Virtual San Francisco may be graphical (using a 3-dimensional engine or photographs), or textual (a MUD).

In this early phase, collect the information you'll need to create the Virtual City. If you want to implement a text-based VR, collect/create written descriptions of specific places in the city. For instance, go to the corner of Market and 4th and write down everything you can see, hear, smell or touch. If you want a more graphically-oriented final product, take pictures, make maps etc..

Feel free to use information that has already been collected by other groups, including ones not explicitly associated with this game.

It may be helpful to split the city into relatively small indexable sectors to ease the process.

Obtain a US postal "damaged mail bag" by sending a damaged and/or inappropriate piece of mail to yourself, a friend, a neighbor, or a coworker. Submit a scan or photograph of the mail in the "damaged" bag to complete the task. What is damaged, anyway?

Mix It Up

Exploit The Digital Print Shop

With the advent of scanners, color copiers, photo printers, and digital editing software, it's become easier and easier for the average EquivalenZ player to muck with product packaging. That's a good thing given how lame product packaging is these days.

Using your deviantly creative ideas and your mad digital print shop skillz, take an item and repackage it. You may choose to select a product that's already in your pantry/refridgerator, or you might find it more fun to purchase an item just for this task. Feel free to change the functionality, purpose, or meaning of the item that you select. After all, it's not really about the product, it's about the packaging.
