Let's pretend this day never existed and try out stuff with a freedom from what we normally do.Today is a good day to task.
Skip work! Ignore your responsibilities! Everyone reading this - skip work and enjoy it! Wander around town aimlessly and for no good reason!
Go to the movies! Eat fatty foods! Bother people! Break promises! Buy weird clothes and put it on! Throw out important stuff to you! Say stuff you shouldn't!
Let's use this extra day of Feb. 29th to do lots of stuff we never do!

It's the day that makes me wait an extra day until my birthday, March 1. In 2008 I had to wait an extra day to turn 21 years old. I tried to convince places that it should actually be my birthday but it didn't work.

Really, I've got plans, though I can't post them here. No pictures of the girl I nanny for.
I'll be wearing my blue and yellow striped scarf and singing Leap Year carols, just like I did when I was a kid. I wish Leap Year Williams still did mall pictures, though. That would be cool, if only for the nostalgia aspect.
This sounds good. Can you share some carols with us?
I traveled to a random town, went for a random point in the woods, at night, slept in the snow, and came back in the morning to clock in at work before 9am. I also ordered a paraglider.
I spent the day exploring weird buildings downtown, found eleven different buildings that claimed to be Anjac Fashion Buildings, and then with Waldo, mailed some homemade postcards to fellow SFØ players so that they'd have the postmark of February 29th on them. Check your mailboxes!
it is also the day after my birthday, in case anyone needs more reasons to celebrate :)
