Wear Your Art As Your Sleeve

The University of Aesthematics has no bookstore with which to gouge you, and no signiture apparel with which to cover. But should you choose to make your membership known, we urge you to make/modify a shirt or other torso-covering garment that proclaims your allegiance. Don't forget to post the "plans" for your garment, as well as a depiction of the completed item.

Exquisite Corpse (Analog)

Make plans to meet another player or players, preferably one(s) you haven't met before, in a public place (park, bar, cafe, restaurant, government building, museum, etc.). While together, play Exquisite Corpse, either the poetic or illustrative version. Show your results to those around you or other passersby. Record both your resulting Corpses and the reactions of those who bear witness to the results.

Package From The Insane

Acquire the mailing address of a stranger (or friend) and send them a package (anonymously) seemingly packed by the insane.

PLEASE, do not make it mean, dangerous or insulting.

Example: take a cardboard box and write obscure mathematical equations or quotes of nonsense. Draw STRANGE pictures or just a single word with great emphasis (FUR).

Pack it with useless detritus meticulously combined. (Small wooden dowels glued to packets of taco sauce powder with a foreign dignitaries face affixed over the ingredients label).

A folded and sealed packet of small clothing (a tie, underwear).

Blind Sculpting

Inspired by the Seeing Beyond Sight Photo Challenge, continue to create art in a state of disrupted senses:

1. Choose a medium.

2. Blindfold yourself.

3. Create a sculpture of something you sense while blindfolded.

4. Give the sculpture to a stranger, gallery, or museum. If a stranger, ask them to title it.

5. Document as you go.

I seldom find in my adventures that a rope has been positioned in a way which fascinates me without being helpful, such as perhaps turning a piece of public art and a tree into the supports for a giant spiderweb.

As children, many of us built magnificent structures out of legos (though most of our memory is of stepping on one block barefoot, yeouch!). Three dimensionally recreate your city using an unlikely medium. Feel free to unceremoniously destroy it (after documentation, of course).
